Haiti's Children

About Haiti's Children, Inc.
A key goal is to give children the chance to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior to reassure the children of Haiti that God has not forgotten them. “God loves them, always has, always will.” In 2002, Gladys began working in Haiti organizing, raising funds and staffing ongoing mission teams. Food, medical treatment and education were provided for an impoverished and remote village, Basin Caiman, on Haitis southern coast.

Gladys still leads mission teams in Haiti who teach and work alongside our Haitian brothers and sisters.

Mission Trip 2019

In January of 2019, a group from Zion was able to take a mission trip to Haiti. The trip made an important impact on both the people of Haiti that they met and those from Zion who were able to share their time with them. 

 How you can help. By Sponsoring  a Child-they get to go to school, get extra vitamins and medical care. Or by giving to support Mission Trips which in addition to fund-raising, people can give a week of their time to travel to Haiti to assist in any way needed. 

 One of our member who went to Haiti on this trip posted a picture  on the Zion Facebook page saying “I couldn’t bring her home, but I am going to sponsor her through Haiti’s Children Inc.  I believe the children are the future to help that country with so much corruption, natural disasters and unrest.” -JM  Those who sent fell in love with the people of Haiti, the kids and the country.

“The team is helping HCI distribute food to the local this was a school considered “the poorest of the poor” one little girl saw the packs and squealed. This trip was life changing.” Jaime

"Girls in dresses, don't make messes."

Another way many other members helped, was by sewing dresses for girls and shorts for boys. One member alone made about 100 dresses!
