The Mission of the Month for February is Wisconsin Christian Campus Ministries (WCCM), the umbrella ministry for His House Christian Fellowship. Jeremy and Lori Rush started His House Christian Fellowship at UW Oshkosh in 2001, and incorporated WCCM in 2004. Since that time the ministry has continued to expand, impacting countless students. WCCM now includes a His House branch at UW Madison, Lawrence University in Appleton, Ripon College, and UW Green Bay. Zion has contributed to their ministry by providing office space for the UWO staff for close to ten years. The His House team has volunteered support for a number of youth events at Zion.

The focus of His House is discipleship. While His House has weekly meetings of prayer and teaching, they also hold numerous student-led small groups throughout the week. Students are encouraged to lead these groups and also to take part in other leadership positions, such as leading worship or heading event planning. Staff members disciple the student leaders, who are then encouraged to disciple one or two students themselves. The result is a chain of students meeting with one another one-on-one to grow more deeply in the Christian faith, no matter their starting point.

His House is an essential reminder at Wisconsin universities that God is the center of everything. College is a critical fork in the road for many students, and His House acts as a signpost, guiding students to the source of life. Please pray for the college students at UWO and other campuses, who God is reaching through His House. Pray that God would open their eyes to his truth and give them a steadfastness that would remain with them the rest of their lives. Thank you so much for your support and prayers.
